Semi-Final Players of the Week

Offense: Nick Gorgichuk – Ottawa

The Ottawa Sooners were on the road for the Semi-Finals this year as they headed to Hamilton. Quarterback Nick Gorgichuk threw for 205 yards and three touchdowns in the Sooners victory. Gorgichuk connected with 9 different receivers throughout the game to lead Ottawa to a win and the championship game. His performance earned him Offensive player of the week.

Defense: Tyler Storie – Windsor

The Windsor Fratmen hosted the London Beefeaters in the semi-finals after finishing their season with a perfect record and taking first place in the league. Defensive Back, Tyler Storie led the defense with a total of 28 defensive points. Storie had 2 tackles, 3 knockdowns, a forced fumble and four interceptions. The interceptions were returned for a total of 65 yards. His performance in Windsor’s win over London earned him Defensive Player of the week.

Special Teams: LLevi Noel – Windsor

The Windsor Fratmen beat the London Beefeaters in the Semi-Finals at home in order to move onto the championship. Llevi Noel returned two punts for a total of 54 yards as well as a touchdown. He also had 3 receptions for 35 yards. His performance earned him Special Teams player of the week.
