Offensive Player of the Week- Nick Gorickuk QB Ottawa Sooners 18/23 265 yards/ 5TD

An aerial assault laid down by #1 this week with 5 total touchdown passes. Nick was on fire this weekend. Going 18 for 23 with 265 total pass yards just goes to show that this quarterback was on the ball from the first whistle to the last. Averaging 14.7 yards a pass was an impressive performance to say the least. He was sure to spread the ball around getting everyone on his offense involved. A big day for the Ottawa quarterback.

Defensive Player of the Week- John Rush LB Hamilton Hurricanes 15 total points/ 1 INT

The defensive player of the week comes from the dominant Hurricanes team. John lead his team this week with 15 overall points, including an interception and a fumble recovery. He added on 3 total tackles and 1 assisted for a remarkable performance. The Hamilton Hurricanes were able to keep the London Beefeaters to a low score of 5 total points this week.

Special Teams Player of the Week- Marcus Severe PR Ottawa Sooners 5 PR/ 99 yards/ 1TD

The Sooners add a second player to this weeks standout players. Marcus Severe had a great day returning kicks for Ottawa against the Grizzlies. He had a total of 5 punt returns this week with just under 100 yards. He added a touchdown on his 55 yard return. Marcus had lots of opportunities to return the ball this week as the Sooners shut out the Grizzies 56-0.
